Our client wanted to create a welcoming atmosphere in this space, which had previously been a self-service organic restaurant. His idea to include "Ours," meaning bear and also the name of the street, to the name of the restaurant made us want to develop a space similar to that of a lair with cozy and subdued areas created in raw materials like wood, steel, stone...
All of the rooms were reviewed and rearranged following three types of seating that depended on the activity that would be developed in that space. 
The main room is made up of a restaurant type of seating with the sieved lighting and wooden chairs that are dressed in custom-made high quality fabrics.
Another room, containing the bar, is envisioned to be functioning more at night with two main areas: one in the front, the lounge, and one in the back that is more likened a pub which includes subway styled benches made in wooden slats and preserves the original wall made of "pierre de Paris." 
Lastly, one room, with few lights, was specifically chosen to be quite dark and exiguous in order to add to our aim of making this restaurant feel like a den. This area includes seating for groups and can be privatized. 
The adapted lighting allows this bar-restaurant to function both during daytime and night-time activity. The overall lighting is completed with lighting tablets and curbed neon lights that match the disposition of the ceilings and the ceiling mirrors.
